Fosse Way Cycling Team competes at the Tour of Britain!

Nine lucky children were selected by British Cycling to represent Fosse Way at the HSBC UK Go Ride British Cycling Schools' Competition on Wednesday. We spent the day in Newark on Trent where that afternoon's stage of the Tour of Britain was due to end. The children took part in Italian pursuit cycle races around a finishing line complete with spectators, full commentary and TV cameras. Our first team finished third, and were rewarded with bronze medals presented to them by the town's deputy mayor on the official podium. We also managed to enjoy the 'cycle village' and received several cycling 'freebies', as can be seen in the photos!
