Live video link with Pete Casey - Amazon explorer

It's not every day you get the opportunity to speak to someone who is trekking through the Amazon rainforest. However, that is what our Year 5/6 managed to do this morning. Pete Casey is on a 3 year journey of a lifetime, following the Amazon on foot from the Atlantic Ocean and continuing all the way across South America to the Pacific. Via a live video link, we were able to chat to him about his adventures so far, which included finding a jaguar under his hammock, being bitten by a pit viper and almost being struck by lightning in a flash flood.
