Space Centre visit

National Space Centre – by Bradley

At the National Space Centre, there are six areas: the Rocket Tower, Planetarium, Planets, Tranquility Base and more.

Rocket Tower

This enormous construction is the rocket tower; there are 144 stairs in it. There are 3 floors.  On each floor is a long timetable of what happened to make space possible.  There was also a big timeline which showed us things that happened around the same time.  On floors 2 and 3 there are space pods and control rooms for use to explore.

Planetarium

The planetarium is one of the most greatest part of the space centre it shows different movies every so often; but it is all around you so you have to look around to see it all. Some of the things we learned in here were about the dangers faced by astronauts.

Tranquillity Base
The Tranquility Base is the part of the centre where there is an interactive computer screen. Here you can learn facts all about a rocket and the different components.

Arcade

The games part is a little arcade place where you can play games such as a mining game and a resource collector. At the end of this is the gift shop where you can buy some stuff such as: pens, pencils, plushies, 3D posters, books and more…

Conclusion

To sum this all up I would recommend the National Space Centre to anyone the reason for this is it is quite interesting to anybody.
