Our Y6's taking part in the Making History Project visited the Bomber Command Memorial today with Terry, a local ex RAF Waddington Vulcan crew member.
Our Y6's have been researching Terry's family tree and discovered Terry's uncle was a Lancaster bomber crew member in World War 2 and was sadly killed in action during the War. It was unknown to Terry that his uncle was named on the memorial until we found out during our research. It was emotional to take Terry to see his uncle's name listed today, an inspiring and humbling visit.
