Y6 Reading with Reception Class

In Year 6 have been working very hard to improve our reading fluency and expression. Over the past few weeks, some of us have been perfecting our reading of a brilliant children’s book called “Hey, Little Ant” by Phillip and Hannah Hoose. Today, we visited Mrs Bingham’s Reception Class to read the book in pairs to small groups of reception children. We each took on the role of the ant or the boy in the story and did incredibly well at reading the book fluently and expressively. Take a look at the photos below!
