6A Author Penpal - Nicola Penfold

We are very lucky in class 6A to have an author penpal this year. Her name is Nicola Penfold and her debut novel is released in February. It is called 'Where the World turns Wild.' She has been writing to us since September 2019 and often makes recommendations of books she thinks we would like. One of her suggestions was Malamander by Thomas Taylor which we read as our class novel and we all really enjoyed it. Recently, her publishers sent us 5 copies of the book - all signed - along with the press release for the novel and some posters. In our English lessons, some of our class have chosen to write letters to Nicola Penfold to find out more about her, to ask her some questions and make recommendations based on the books they've been reading.
