Annie Williams
We have been studying watercolours in Art. Our focus artist is Annie Williams. She creates still-life images of pots with abstract backgrounds or bright, outdoor scenes.
We created mood boards in our sketchbooks about her.
These are a few examples of what we included in our mood boards:
- A bright, colourful title, explaining who the focus artist is.
- Information about the artist, including their date of birth and a paragraph about their earlier life.
- Colourful pictures of them and some of their art.
- Some art done by ourselves as examples of what she would have created.
- Several words describing their artwork that we think suits them. For instance, we think her artwork is abstract and different.
- Words telling the observer what she uses to create her work, e.g. we wrote watercolour on our work as Annie tends to use them.
