The Little Princess Hair-athon

Amelia is taking the brave decision to chop off her hair for the Little Princess Trust. She is hoping to raise £500.

Hello there, I’m Amelia and I am going to cut off some of my hair for the Little Princess Trust. As you already know, I would like to raise £500 because that is the maximum amount that you need to make one wig. I’ve been wanting to cut off my hair for a while and my mum had the idea of instead of throwing it away that I should give it to charity. I’m so glad I’ve decided to do this. I know it will make someone in this world very happy.

For those of you that don’t know, the Little Princess Trust is a charity that gives away free wigs to girls under 24 who have lost their  hair to illness and cancer treatment. They collect donations of hair and money to make wonderful wigs so girls can feel better about themselves. It costs £350-£500 to make one wig, so I’ve decided to try and raise the maximum amount because I think it is the best thing to do.
